Join fellow survivor Jan Griffin on one of her 3 day/4 night Breast Cancer Survivor Yoga Retreats in beautiful Sedona, Arizona.
This is a special Yoga retreat just for Breast Cancer Survivors addressing post surgery recovery, the severe fatigue from chemotherapy recovery, and help with lymphedema and more. Reconnect the balance of mind, body and spirit, regain range of motion, return to regular daily activities and enjoy your life once again all in this mysterious, beautiful spiritual Land.
In 2005 Jan was diagnosed with Breast Cancer, after having 3 surgeries and a radical mastectomy,she can’t describe how much her Yoga Practice helped in her recovery. She started taking Yoga Teacher Training to be able to share her experience with other survivors, what a wonderful road it would lead her down. Jan now has over 600 hours of Yoga Teacher Training in hatha, vinyasa, yin and therapeutic Yoga and is a certified instructor . In April 3013 she will be certified as a Recuperative Yoga Specialist, just for Breast Cancer Survivors. She feels truly blessed to share her Yoga expertise with other survivors.
Recuperate, revive, and rejuvenate in Sedona, with Fellow Survivors and Yoga Instructor Jan Griffin. Special Yoga classes created to address the special needs of Breast Cancer Survivors will be held daily outdoors on the beautiful, healing Red Rocks of Sedona. Special ceremonies and guided meditation for clearing fear and grief, and negative thought patterns and learning forgiveness and acceptance will be part of our Yoga Classes. Sharing from our experiences from the long road of Breast Cancer and its toll on self, family and friends, and its revelations. We will also go to a variety of spiritual places such as the Chapel of the Holy Cross and The Amitabha Stupa
There will be other services available such as Massage, Psychic Readings, Past Life Regression etc, there will also be time to explore Sedona on your own.
For all of the Survivors that come, there will be lodging at Jan’s home (dorm style) with your own bathroom, there is a beautiful view of the Sedona Red Rocks, or you can choose lodging from a list of recommended Resorts or B&Bs and motels in town. There will be a light breakfast and snacks and a light picnic lunch will be provided on the trail (please let us know of any special dietary needs). For dinner there will be suggestions of places to eat.
Then you will meet back at Jan’s home for open discussion, of your experiences of the day and about our own personal experiences with breast cancer. Tarot Card and Angel Card readings will be available at Jan’s home.
